  2. Toshiba Photo CD class driver for Windows NT

  8. The enclosed Photo CD class driver is compatible with
  9. Toshiba 3301BC, 3401, and 4101 CD-ROM drives, operating
  10. on Intel-based PC systems under Microsoft Windows NT
  11. version 3.1.

  14. Installation Requirements
  15. =========================
  16.  
  17. Prior to installation, Windows NT 3.1 final release must
  18. be installed and running on the system where the Photo CD
  19. class driver is to be installed.
  20.

  22. Installation Instructions
  23. =========================
  24.  
  25. 1.  Run the Windows NT setup program from the
  26.     main program group (also used when installing
  27.     video adapters etc.)
  28.  
  29. 2.  Select the option to add/remove a SCSI adapter.
  30.  
  31. 3.  Press the 'Add' button. A message will be displayed
  32.     warning about the consequences af adding new SCSI
  33.     adapters. You can ignore this message.
  34.  
  35. 4.  Press the 'OK' button. A dialog will be displayed
  36.     entitled 'Select SCSI Adapter option'.
  37.  
  38. 5.  In the list box entitled 'Adapter' select the option
  39.     'Other (Requires a disk from the hardware manufacturer).
  40.  
  41. 6.  A message will be displayed requesting that the driver
  42.     disk be inserted in a disk drive.
  43.  
  44. 6.  Insert the Toshiba Photo CD driver diskette in a disk
  45.     drive and press the 'OK' button.
  46.  
  47. 7.  A dialog will be displayed entitled 'Select OEM option'.
  48.  
  49. 8.  Select the Toshiba Photo CD class driver option from the
  50.     list box, and press the 'OK' button.
  51.  
  52. 9.  A dialog will be displayed entitled 'Select SCSI Adapter
  53.     Option'. Press the 'Install' button.
  54.  
  55. 10. The driver will then be installed. When this operation is
  56.     finished, press the 'Close' button and exit the Setup
  57.     program.
  58.  
  59. 11. After you re-start Windows NT, the Toshiba Photo CD class
  60.     driver will be automatically loaded by the system.

  63. Possible Error Messages
  64. =======================

  66. In the event that the driver has already been installed,
  67. an error message will be displayed to this effect.

  73. In order for the Windows NT setup program to function
  74. correctly during the driver installation, the following
  75. files must be present on the installation diskette:
